Essie Mint Candy Apple

Hey Dolls!

I finally picked up Essie Mint Candy Apple.  I see this beautiful color everywhere and thought it was time to finally purchase it!  I went through my stash and I don't have anything that is the same shade, close but not the same!  When I went through my Essie collection, I noticed that I purchase a lot of blue shades, which is so strange because I'm not a huge fan of blues!  There must be something about those Essie blues that I just love!

The formula was super great, especially for a minty-green shade!  Two easy coats was all I needed.

Do you guys own this Essie beauty?

Have a great day lovelies,

Marble Smoosh Nails

Hiya Dolls!

I've finally jumped on the marble nails bandwagon and I'm fully obsessed!   I saw a pictorial from Autumn (@justagirlandhernails) on Instagram and she made it look so easy that I had to have a try.  Check out her cute nail designs in her Etsy shop here.

It uses the 'smoosh' technique using a rubber stamper, Sammy from The Nailasaurus has an awesome video tutorial on how to do it here.

I put on a base coat of  OPI Infinite Shine You're Blushing Again on my nails.  On a glass surface, I put a layer of You're Blushing Again and a few dots of OPI Infinite Shine Non-Stop White and Go to Grayt Lengths.  I took a toothpick and dragged the polish around horizontally and then picked up the design with a clear stamper and stamped it onto my nails.  I topped it off with my fave top coat, NYC Grand Central Station.

Have you guys tried this technique before?  Prepare yourselves for a few different color combo's from me!  I'm obsessed!

Have a great day lovelies!

Cirque Colors Metropolis FW2017, Swatches and Review

samples

Hey Dolls!

I have the new Cirque Colors Metropolis FW2017 Collection to share with you today!  I can't say enough good things about Cirque Colors, their formula's and shades are so fabulous.  I seriously have been blown away by their polishes!

There are six new shades in this collection and they scream Autumn to me!  The formulas were all fantastic, you can get away with just one coat if you load up your brush well.  Also, they will NOT stain your cuticles, that is a huge win in my book!

First up is Coffee Talk, a mocha brown cream.  I love a good, classy brown for Fall.  Two coats.

Red Hook is a stunning brick red cream.  This is the kind of red that I like!  Two coats.

Spotted in SoHo is a lovely rosy pink cream.  Two coats.

Urbanized is a mustard yellow cream.  This is one of those colors that you will either love it or hate it!  Two coats.

Sartorial is a whimsical lilac cream.  Just two easy coats for perfect opacity.

Madison is a peach leaning nude cream.  This was the only one that I needed three coats.  It wasn't streaky, I just needed that third coat to cover my nail line.

This collection can be purchased on the Cirque Colors website here.  Each polish retails for $12.50.

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
